LOGISTICS SERVICES  WAREHOUSE STORAGE

Allingham Transport operate two warehouses in Northern Ireland – a 5,000 pallet capacity Chilled Warehouse in Cookstown, County Tyrone and a 14,000 capacity Ambient Warehouse in Summerisland, Portadown, County Armagh. Both warehouses are accredited with a BRC AA rating.

Our warehousing department provide the following services to clients in a variety of sectors:

• High bay pallet racking storage

• Bulk block stacking of oversize pallets

• Machinery storage

• Cross docking

• Unloading or de-stuffing of containers and container stuffing

• Case picking

• Facilities to load goods in and out of the warehouse undercover

• 24 hour internal and external CCTV security with live monitored cameras

• Power pallet wrapping

• Pallet supply

We also operate a Food Production Unit which provides additional services for some of our Agri Food sector clients. In the past we have provided line production facilities for customers and are always happy to work with customers to deliver additional services they may require form time to time.

Both of our warehouses operate RF based Warehouse Management Software to ensure full traceability of product movements and a full stock reporting suite for our customers. Customers can also access a 24/7 portal to view their own stock inventories.

Our warehouse team members are put through an ongoing and rigorous training programme which includes Food Safety in Logistics, Health and Safety and full MHE specialist training. In addition to standard industry training, we also work in partnership with the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) to facilitate and attend specialist food storage training.
